Chalet

The school holidays is almost coming to an end, but this last weekend must be the best one yet! We checked in to a chalet yesterday with my friends Celest, Ashley and Yixuan, after which we went grocery shopping and had dinner together. This evening, we had a barbeque where we invited a few of our old friends and teachers from Kinderland. I'm a bit sad that we're checking out tomorrow but I'm sure that I'll see my friends again very soon. Till next time!

Slurpee!

I have been craving a slurpee for the past few days but for some strange reason, the slurpee machines at many 7-11 stores have not been working! Today was my very lucky day though. Mummy and I were at Vivocity to watch yet another movie, and we walked past the 7-11 near the theatre. Look at how pleased I am =p

Sleepover

After being cooped up at home for much of the June school holidays, Mummy thought it would be a good break for her and I to have a sleepover at Maggie Lao Ee's house this weekend. I certainly had a lot of fun as I made Ee Ee Rachael play many silly games with me. The bed at Lao Ee's house is much cosier than mine, and I woke up later than I normally would have at home.

This morning after breakfast, Lao Ee accompanied Mummy and I to church. It was a really old non-airconditioned church that I've never seen before, and I'm not sure if I liked it. After mass, Mummy and I walked across the road to visit the Singapore Arts Museum. The exhibitions are pretty cool aren't they?

Movies

Mummy and I went to the movie theatre to watch Monsters University today. While we were there, we saw the scary Wolverine who tried to kill me with his sharp claws!

Mummy's birthday

It's a special day today because it's Mummy's birthday! I had lunch with Mummy and some of her friends:

I made Mummy a very nice card, where I thanked her for taking such good care of me during these past few weeks:

Daddy bought Mummy some tulips because they are her favourite flowers. Daddy also asked me to choose a soft toy for Mummy - I picked this cute giraffe because it has such big eyes! I liked it so much that Mummy agreed to let me have it, so it's now my present instead, haha. Daddy then got Mummy another soft toy duck, so we're all happy =p

I also wished Mummy many well wishes for her birthday:

Daddy, Mummy and I then had a nice dinner together, and we ended off the evening with a birthday song and cake.

Google

We had lunch with Uncle Lih Shiun at his office today. He works at a very clever place called Google. Google is very clever because it knows the answer to every question that I have!

Happy Daddy's Day

It's Father's Day today, and on the way back from swimming class, Mummy and I thought of buying Daddy a present. I decided to buy him some flowers, so I chose a yellow bright one that reminds me of the happy times that I spend with Daddy, a red one that reminds me of how much I love Daddy, and an orange one that reminds me of how much Daddy plays with and teases me!

Goodbye Gold Coast

We left for Brisbane airport so early this morning that the sun wasn't up yet when we left the hotel. We've had a great holiday and it's now time for us to go back to hot and humid Singapore. Bye bye Australia for now, and I hope to be back soon!

Gold Coast Day 4

It's the last full day of our holiday today, and we went to Paradise Country in the morning to experience what life on an Australia farm is like. We saw many farm animals and I was able to get a few kangaroos to eat out of my hand. This was the best part of my day!

Daddy carried me on his shoulders as we watched the horse perform tricks, so that I can be tall enough to look the horse in the eye.

Otherwise I would be so short standing next to the horse:

I saw sheeps and cows too.

To end off our trip, we took a family photo with a koala bear. I had wanted to carry the bear actually, but he was too large and too heavy for me, so my strong Daddy carried the koala instead while I tightly hugged it. It's so nice and soft to touch.

Gold Coast Day 3

We woke up early this morning to take a walk on the beach. The weather was bright and sunny, and we took some nice photos.

After our morning walk, we set off for Sea World. We saw many fishes, sharks, stingrays, penguins and dolphins. The dolphins were really amazing as they could do wonderful tricks.

Like Movie World, Sea World also had some rides for children. I took one where I went up and down like a bouncing ball:

The weather wasn't too good in the afternoon though, and I had to use a raincoat most of the time. But nevertheless, I got to drive my own tractor:

And Daddy and I enjoyed some time together on the carousel:
