I wanted to do something new today, so I asked Daddy and Mummy to bring me ice-skating. I think I'm much better than Daddy and Mummy though, because I didn't fall down but they both did. So fun, wish Daddy and Mummy would bring me ice-skating again soon!

Smiley hot chocolate
We had dinner with Daddy's and Mummy's friends this evening, and we went to a McCafe for dessert thereafter. I was really surprised and pleased when my hot chocolate came. Smile!
Office Christmas party
Mummy brought me to her office today as there was a Christmas party. There were games and Mummy's friends dressed me up like a Santa Claus.
There was also a gift exchange, and one of Mummy's friends bought a Frozen book for me. Simply awesome!

Earrings
Mummy said that if I passed my swimming test, she would allow me to pierce my ears. So today, Maggie Lao Ee and Ah Ma brought me to the jewellery shop. I picked out my own flower earrings, and although I was a little scared, I made sure that I sat very still when my ears were being pierced. Mummy has to help me clean my ears for the next 6 weeks to make sure they do not become infected, and after that I can wear any earrings that I like. There are a few pairs of Mummy's earrings that I'm already eyeing, muahahah!

Swimming test
As Daddy and Mummy had to work, Ye Ye brought me to Yishun swimming pool for my swimming test this evening. I passed, yay!

Artistic pancakes
As Mummy had to work this afternoon at Turf City, we decided to go for lunch. There was a pancakes place which Mummy had been wanting to bring me for a while now, and we finally had the chance to try it today. Don't you love my art brain and artistic pancakes?

Hanging out
I did a cool thing with Daddy and Mummy today, haha. We hung out at Starbucks after dinner, where I enjoyed a Christmas Frappuccino while reading my book. Nice!

Sleepover
The day after we got back from our holiday, Mummy offered to have my friends sleep over at our house. Mummy is so sweet, as she knows that I like to play with my friends and spend time with them.
We had an enjoyable time, from dressing up to playing games to running around in the playground. Thanks Mummy for treating me like a princess :)

Yes, a holiday!
I'm so excited about going for a holiday to Shanghai! It's a family holiday this time, as we will be staying with Ye Ye and Nai Nai in Be Be's house. I will also have time to play with my cousins whom I haven't seen in a few months.
This is me enjoying a foot massage while waiting eagerly at the airport for our flight last week:
The weather was not as cold as I had thought it would be, which was a pity as I really wanted to wear my brand new, pink down jacket. One of our mornings was spent at the Chrysanthemum Gardens, where there were sculptures made of plants.
There were also amusement rides within the Garden:
There was another morning where we went to the zoo:
In addition, we spent some time sightseeing. I didn't really like walking much but I did enjoy feeding the fishes:
I had a nice time in Shanghai, but I'm also glad to be back home today!

Christmas is coming
The shopping malls are starting to play Christmas music and the shops are starting to sell Christmas decorations and gifts. Can I be a reindeer this year and help Santa pull his sleigh?

The school holidays have arrived
It's the start of the year-end school holidays! As Ye Ye and Nai Nai were flying off today, and Daddy and Mummy were working, Maggie Lao Ee took care of me today. I had way too much fun - swimming at the pool, as well as going out with Lao Ee and Ah Ma for lunch. Best of all, Daddy and Mummy allowed me to sleep over at Lao Ee's house - what an adventure!

New hula hoop
Mummy and I have been using the hula hoop that I had received for a birthday present earlier this year. In fact we've both enjoyed it and used it so often that it broke a few days ago :(
Today as we were out for lunch, I chanced upon a nice pink hula hoop. Mummy and I can hula-hoop again to our hearts' content :)

Tricked!
I was definitely wowed and tricked today! Mummy had bought tickets to the Trick Eye Museum at RWS and invited Grandpa and Ah Ma to join us on our magical adventure.
I pulled down the pants of a naughty boy...
... turned myself into a pretty mermaid...
.. made friends with a giant kitten and an elephant...
.. almost became a cannon but luckily the man saw me in time to stop lighting the fuse...
... and become really strong, so strong that I could stand on one hand. Awesome!

Shopping
I really don't like shopping. But it's something that Daddy and Mummy (actually it's more Mummy) like to do, so we sometimes end up at shopping malls with me feeling bored. Luckily this time I was armed with my book and a cosy corner in the shop!
I also found something to entertain Daddy and I were Mummy was still in the shops. I like Lego :)

Long weekend
Yay, it's a long weekend because of the Hari Raya public holiday! As Daddy had to help out at the Teochew festival all day today, he had the bright idea of booking a staycation nearby in Orchard Road. Daddy always has bright ideas by the way, just that some are more bright than others :)
The lobby of the hotel (Grand Park Orchard) was really nice and comfortable. The swimming pool was awesome too, and I went swimming twice.
As we were staying in the heart of Orchard Road, we took the opportunity to go gallivanting. We went to many of the new shopping malls that have sprung up in Orchard over the past few years, but to be honest, they were quite boring...
This is just outside the Teochew Festival exhibition, while Daddy was on the inside.
I did enjoy a nice breakfast at Toastbox though - I simply love hot Milo and runny eggs!

Rockclimbing
I'm so proud of myself! We were at Kallang Wave today and I eagerly begged Daddy and Mummy to let me scale the rock wall. I was very brave at first and couldn't wait to put on my harness and get going. I actually had quite a lot of fun on the smaller wall, although I didn't manage to reach the top. After a while, Mummy tricked me into trying the full size wall. And guess what, Mummy refused to let me down when I was midway up as she wanted me to try and reach the top. Luckily Daddy was there to save me and he begged Mummy to let me come down. Good Daddy, naughty Mummy!

Big bubble
On our way back from the swimming pool this morning, Mummy and I stopped by a provision shop where I convinced Mummy to buy me a small pack of bubble-making gum tubes. Mummy says that she and Daddy used to play with them when they were young. Do you think I can stick my head inside the bubble?

Staycation at Sentosa
As this was the last weekend of the school holidays, Daddy decided to give Mummy and I both a treat by arranging for a staycation. We had a nice dinner at Sentosa Cove last night and explored the area a little.
This morning, we woke up in time to have breakfast at MacDonald's before heading to Adventure Cove Waterpark at RWS. Thankfully the weather was nice, and we had great fun swimming, sliding and being tossed around by waves, hah!

Yamaha exam
After 4 years of weekly Yamaha lessons, I finally took my Yamaha examination today. The exam wasn't held where we usually have classes, and Mummy took leave to bring me to the Yamaha centre at Plaza Singapura. We didn't drive there though, but took the mrt instead.
Before the exam, Mummy wanted to make sure that I ate enough lunch. We decided to go to Swensen's, which had a lunch promotion that gave us a free sundae when we bought a main course. Yummy, think I had a sugar high from it.
My fun day didn't end after the exam finished. We waited at MacDonalds for Daddy to come home, and I had fun drawing and snacking.
Thank you Mummy for taking leave today to have a fun day with me!

Mid-autumn festival
As has been our tradition the past few years, Mummy brought me downstairs this evening to play with lanterns. This year, I had painted my own lanterns (see the apples on them), as well as had made one out of recyclable materials. Daddy also joined us in the celebrations this year, and I had fun playing sparklers with him.

Happy teachers' day
To show our appreciation to our teachers, some students put together a performance at the Teachers' Day celebrations today. I had practised very hard over the past month, and I'm glad that I had the chance to perform to thank my teachers. I had great fun too!

Present for Mummy
I was in the school bookshop today when I saw a cute teddy bear. On impulse, I decided to buy it for my Mummy. There was no special occasion, nor any special reason for me to do so. I just wanted Mummy to know that I love her!

Family dinner
My cousins are back for their twice-a-year visit home. As it was Mei Mei Shannon's birthday, we decided to have dinner together. She was certainly very pleased with her Frozen birthday cake.
