New hula hoop

Mummy and I have been using the hula hoop that I had received for a birthday present earlier this year. In fact we've both enjoyed it and used it so often that it broke a few days ago :(

Today as we were out for lunch, I chanced upon a nice pink hula hoop. Mummy and I can hula-hoop again to our hearts' content :)

Tricked!

I was definitely wowed and tricked today! Mummy had bought tickets to the Trick Eye Museum at RWS and invited Grandpa and Ah Ma to join us on our magical adventure.

I pulled down the pants of a naughty boy...

... turned myself into a pretty mermaid...

.. made friends with a giant kitten and an elephant...

.. almost became a cannon but luckily the man saw me in time to stop lighting the fuse...

... and become really strong, so strong that I could stand on one hand. Awesome!

Shopping

I really don't like shopping. But it's something that Daddy and Mummy (actually it's more Mummy) like to do, so we sometimes end up at shopping malls with me feeling bored. Luckily this time I was armed with my book and a cosy corner in the shop!

I also found something to entertain Daddy and I were Mummy was still in the shops. I like Lego :)

Long weekend

Yay, it's a long weekend because of the Hari Raya public holiday! As Daddy had to help out at the Teochew festival all day today, he had the bright idea of booking a staycation nearby in Orchard Road. Daddy always has bright ideas by the way, just that some are more bright than others :)

The lobby of the hotel (Grand Park Orchard) was really nice and comfortable. The swimming pool was awesome too, and I went swimming twice.

As we were staying in the heart of Orchard Road, we took the opportunity to go gallivanting. We went to many of the new shopping malls that have sprung up in Orchard over the past few years, but to be honest, they were quite boring...

This is just outside the Teochew Festival exhibition, while Daddy was on the inside.

I did enjoy a nice breakfast at Toastbox though - I simply love hot Milo and runny eggs!

Rockclimbing

I'm so proud of myself! We were at Kallang Wave today and I eagerly begged Daddy and Mummy to let me scale the rock wall. I was very brave at first and couldn't wait to put on my harness and get going. I actually had quite a lot of fun on the smaller wall, although I didn't manage to reach the top. After a while, Mummy tricked me into trying the full size wall. And guess what, Mummy refused to let me down when I was midway up as she wanted me to try and reach the top. Luckily Daddy was there to save me and he begged Mummy to let me come down. Good Daddy, naughty Mummy!
