I woke up very excited today. Mummy and some of my friends' Mummies had arranged to bring all their babies out for a movie this evening. I can't wait for school to be over so that we can watch Rise of the Guardians. Look how happy we are!

Last day in Taiwan
Today is the last day of our holiday. This morning, we went to the Sun Yat Sen Memorial for a quick visit.
We then did some last minute shopping. The mrt station at Sogo was very pretty, as there were many colourful pictures on the walls.

Taiwan - Day 7
As the sky was already dark by the time we reached our hotel yesterday, we didn't get a chance to fully appreciate the view. This morning, we woke up extra early so that we could explore the resort. This is the amazing view from our room, where I could watch giraffes and zebras as I drank my morning milk.
This is how the inside of the hotel room looks like. It's painted bright pink and has a safari theme as well.
It's almost the end of our holiday, and we made our way back to Taipei today. We had lunch at the 85th floor of Taipei 101, the tallest building in Taipei.

This is what we saw on our way to breakfast. So many animals, and so closed-up!

I love Taiwan, and I love Daddy and Mummy for bringing me on holiday!

Taiwan - Day 6
Today must have been the best day of our holiday so far! We spent the day at Leo Foo Village Theme Park, where I got to ride on a camel, sat in a horse-drawn carriage with Mummy, a boat with Daddy and Mummy, as well as many, many roller coaster rides with Daddy.
Even the lunch at the theme park was interesting:
After a long day of fun in the sun, we checked in at Leo Foo Resort Guanshi, which is supposed to be Asia's only African-themed safari resort. After dinner, we watched a performance by a group from Kenya. And just when I thought my day couldn't get more exciting, it did! Watch the performers pick me up and swing me into the air.

Taiwan - Day 5
Today is Day 5 of our trip, and we are halfway through our holiday already. We went to Wen Wu Temple in the morning, followed by a cruise on the nearby Sun Moon Lake.
This is the new friend that I made on the trip. She's only 3 years old, but we played hard and laughed crazily together.

Taiwan - Day 4
Our first stop for the day was Mei Non Hakka Village. Daddy and Mummy bought me some fish food to feed the fishes in the pond, and I got to try my hand at fetching water from a well.
In the afternoon, we went to Ten Drum Culture Village, where we had fun playing with drums and watching a drum performance.
Finally in the evening, we stopped for a short while at the Salt Mountain in Tainan Chi Gu. It's not really a mountain though, just a small hill that I could climb and reach the top in less than 5 minutes... We also reached there too late to try the salty ice cream, so sad.

Taiwan - Day 3
We had spent the night in Hualien yesterday, and this morning, we visited the Taroko Gorge. When we were there, we saw the Temple of Eternal Spring, which commemorates the persons who had lost their lives building the highway.
In the evening, we checked in at the Hot Spring Resort in Taitung, where we would spend the night. I was a bit disappointed when I found out that the "hot spring" was actually just a bathtub in our hotel room. But it's ok, because after dinner, I felt like I was Rapunzel in the movie Tangled! Mummy and I got to light a paper lantern and watch it float up into the sky. Cool yeah?

Taiwan - Day 2
Our first stop of the day was to Yeliu Scenic Area to see geological rock formations. I spent some time looking for sea shells as well as tried to spot funny-shaped rocks. I think I saw a dinosaur, a snake, a leopard and an elephant's nose.
For lunch, we went to a hillside village called Chiufen. I must have been a very good girl today, because Mummy broke her own rule about not ever buying me lollipops and got me a malt candy stick. She also bought me a packet of chewing gums, haha.

Taiwan - Day 1
Daddy, Mummy and I woke up very early this morning as we had to reach the airport by 5.30 am. I was very excited, because we were going on a holiday to Taiwan! As part of the tour, we would be going to Taipei, Hualien, Taitung, Kaohsiung, Tainan, Nantou, Taichung and Hsinchu.
We arrived in Taipei in the afternoon, where our first stop was to Tamshui Old Street. There was a man selling bubble guns there, and I had great fun playing with the giant bubbles:
Our next stop was to Shihlin Night Market for dinner and some shopping.
I had a lot of fun at one of the fish stalls, where I had the chance to catch fishes with a net.

We won!
My friends and I have been practising very hard for a pre-school dance competition organised by NEA. After making it through the qualifying rounds, we performed during the finals today. I was dressed as an Aedes mosquito and was so excited about it that I persuaded Daddy and Mummy to take leave from work to watch me perform.
Here I am dancing with my other mosquito friends. Please don't leave stagnant water around, so that mosquitoes cannot breed and bite little babies like me.
There were 8 other pre-schools that also made it through to the final round today. But the judges must have liked us very much, because we won the first prize. Yay!

Graduation
Daddy and Mummy enrolled me in Kinderland when I was only 18 months old. This is an old photo of me, wearing a t-shirt and a pair of shorts that were too big for me.
5 years later, I'm still wearing the same set of t-shirt and shorts, but they fit me better now =)
And today, after growing up and spending many happy times in Kinderland, I am graduating and moving on to primary school next year.
Thank you to all my teachers who have taken good care of me all these years. From my principal Ms Susan to my K2 teachers Ms Shikin and my favourite Hong lao shi, as well as all the other teachers that have taught me, thank you!

Legoland
When Ah Ma found out that her office was organising a family day outing to Legoland, she asked if Daddy, Mummy and I wanted to go with them. I eagerly agreed as I hadn't been to Legoland before. So we got up bright and early this morning to catch the coach to Legoland.
We took photos with the many Lego people and animals that were around:
We got to watch a 4D Lego adventure show where we needed to wear special spectacles:
I also hopped on a Lego train that went round in little circles:
But the best parts of Legoland were definitely the roller coasters. I really enjoy the fast turns, and find it really funny when Mummy screams out loud, hah!
