Mummy's birthday

It's a special day today because it's Mummy's birthday! I had lunch with Mummy and some of her friends:

I made Mummy a very nice card, where I thanked her for taking such good care of me during these past few weeks:

Daddy bought Mummy some tulips because they are her favourite flowers. Daddy also asked me to choose a soft toy for Mummy - I picked this cute giraffe because it has such big eyes! I liked it so much that Mummy agreed to let me have it, so it's now my present instead, haha. Daddy then got Mummy another soft toy duck, so we're all happy =p

I also wished Mummy many well wishes for her birthday:

Daddy, Mummy and I then had a nice dinner together, and we ended off the evening with a birthday song and cake.

Google

We had lunch with Uncle Lih Shiun at his office today. He works at a very clever place called Google. Google is very clever because it knows the answer to every question that I have!

Happy Daddy's Day

It's Father's Day today, and on the way back from swimming class, Mummy and I thought of buying Daddy a present. I decided to buy him some flowers, so I chose a yellow bright one that reminds me of the happy times that I spend with Daddy, a red one that reminds me of how much I love Daddy, and an orange one that reminds me of how much Daddy plays with and teases me!

Goodbye Gold Coast

We left for Brisbane airport so early this morning that the sun wasn't up yet when we left the hotel. We've had a great holiday and it's now time for us to go back to hot and humid Singapore. Bye bye Australia for now, and I hope to be back soon!

Gold Coast Day 4

It's the last full day of our holiday today, and we went to Paradise Country in the morning to experience what life on an Australia farm is like. We saw many farm animals and I was able to get a few kangaroos to eat out of my hand. This was the best part of my day!

Daddy carried me on his shoulders as we watched the horse perform tricks, so that I can be tall enough to look the horse in the eye.

Otherwise I would be so short standing next to the horse:

I saw sheeps and cows too.

To end off our trip, we took a family photo with a koala bear. I had wanted to carry the bear actually, but he was too large and too heavy for me, so my strong Daddy carried the koala instead while I tightly hugged it. It's so nice and soft to touch.

Gold Coast Day 3

We woke up early this morning to take a walk on the beach. The weather was bright and sunny, and we took some nice photos.

After our morning walk, we set off for Sea World. We saw many fishes, sharks, stingrays, penguins and dolphins. The dolphins were really amazing as they could do wonderful tricks.

Like Movie World, Sea World also had some rides for children. I took one where I went up and down like a bouncing ball:

The weather wasn't too good in the afternoon though, and I had to use a raincoat most of the time. But nevertheless, I got to drive my own tractor:

And Daddy and I enjoyed some time together on the carousel:

Gold Coast Day 2 - Movie World

We spent the second day of our holiday at Movie World. I love to go on the roller coasters, and I managed to convince scaredy cat Mummy to go with me once. After that, for the second, third and fourth times, it was just Daddy and I. See us waving at Mummy from high up!

Look at Daddy and I screaming away. Are we scaredy cats too?

There were a few rides that are meant only for little children. This is one of them and I was brave enough to ride on my own.

We also saw Looney Tunes characters such as Tweety Bird and Bugs Bunny:

This is Daddy's favourite. I think Batman is more handsome than my Daddy.

Oh, guess what. Daddy hurt his leg today when we were at Movie World. He was getting out of the carousel when he tripped and fell. I think Daddy is so brave, because he didn't cry and he is still smiling.

Gold Coast Day 1

Three weeks ago, Daddy and Mummy had made a booking for a holiday to Gold Coast. I've been waiting eagerly for our holiday and we finally arrived in Brisbane very early this morning.

After we left our luggage at the hotel, we took a trip to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Daddy and I almost got eaten by a snake but luckily brave Daddy saved me!

Brave Mummy also saved me (and my sandwich) from being eaten by the big bird. I think I must be very delicious for so many creatures to want to eat me.

After a very tiring morning (from my multiple attempts to run away and not get eaten!), we took an afternoon nap back at the hotel. In the evening, we took a walk along the beach.

We also went to the arcade. Here's Daddy and I battling the other race cars:

And here I am on the cute bumper cars =)

Mummy's old computer

Grandpa and Ah Ma had bought Mummy a toy computer on 3 Dec 1988. They kept it for me all this while and I've played with it a few times.

But today, the computer stopped working. I think it's really very old and it's time for us to say bye bye to it. I'm sure Mummy had lots of fun playing with it when she was younger, just like I had fun with it while it lasted.

Happy birthday Ye Ye

Ye Ye's birthday is next week, but as we will be overseas then, we decided to celebrate his birthday early. We went for dinner at Vivocity and then went back to Ye Ye's house to sing him a birthday song and eat birthday cake. Happy birthday Ye Ye and thank you for taking such good care of me.
