Cambridge's 800th Anniversary
There have been plenty of celebrations in Cambridge for the past year, to celebrate its 800th anniversary. The finale of the celebrations took place over these few days, with a lights and fire show.

Beauty and the Beast
Daddy and Mummy brought me to watch a pantomime at Haddenham this evening. I had been very fascinated by the story of Beauty and the Beast ever since I received a set of Disney Princesses storybooks for Christmas. Daddy and Mummy therefore thought it would be very exciting for me to watch the show in real life.

I didn't really understand why the storyline in the show wasn't the same as in my book, so I kept asking Daddy and Mummy many questions throughout the show. There was one point in the show where I was very scared and I cried to go home because the evil witch was very scary and wanted to eat little babies like me.

The best part of the show was when I got the chance to go on stage to sing and dance along to "Five hundred miles". I didn't finish singing the song though, and I ran down the stage to find Mummy and Daddy. Can you see me in the purple jacket in the front row near the right?

No matter what
Some time ago, Daddy and Mummy had gotten me a book from the library titled No Matter What.

It's a really great book about how Mummies love their babies no matter what happens, and I'm really sad that we have to return the book soon. Daddy and Mummy have read the book so often to me that I can actually memorise most of it:

Family of mini-snowmen
The weather suddenly became very cold again, and it started snowing again yesterday and today. Mummy got bored of studying for her exams, and we decided to take a snowman break. Here's my family of mini-snowmen - from left to right: Me, Mummy and Daddy.

Here's a closer look at them:

And here's Mummy and I looking like snowmen and eskimos.

New Year's Eve
Today's the last day of 2009. To celebrate this special day, Daddy and I donned look-a-like shirts when we went out for dinner with Mummy's friends.

From left to right, here are some photos of Auntie Monica (Uncle Milind's darling), Uncle Nate, Uncle Jeong Shing and Auntie Misha (Uncle Nate's darling):

More December trips
Our holiday in Malta wasn't enough, so we took a few other short trips in December. One of the trips was to Peterborough, where we had lunch in a pub and saw a cathedral.

We also went to Westfield, a huge shopping centre (on the outskirts of London) that looked so much like the nice shopping centres back home.

I had the chance to try out a remote-controlled car...

... and to pose with a cow after eating a beef burger for dinner =D

Christmas!
It's finally Christmas! I woke up eagerly this morning to find that Santa Claus had brought me two presents - a set of five Disney Princess books, and a Disney Princess Jigsaw Puzzle. I must have been a really good girl =P
For lunch, we went to Uncle Kheng Hwa's house. Auntie Sulyn is a great cook, and she made us delicious dishes like chilli crab sushi, pizza with huge prawns, hokkien mee and roast duck.

Portia's Daddy and Mummy had bought Christmas crackers along, and I received a few nice trinkets.

For dinner, we went to Uncle Oliver's (one of Mummy's classmate) house. Auntie Amelia is such a funny person, and she kept me entertained for most of the evening.

Malta
It is the Christmas holidays, and as Mummy and I didn't have to go to school for some time, we decided to go for a holiday to Malta. We saw many churches, cathedrals and statues, as well as enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the sea and the sunshine.
