More December trips

Our holiday in Malta wasn't enough, so we took a few other short trips in December. One of the trips was to Peterborough, where we had lunch in a pub and saw a cathedral.

We also went to Westfield, a huge shopping centre (on the outskirts of London) that looked so much like the nice shopping centres back home.

I had the chance to try out a remote-controlled car...

... and to pose with a cow after eating a beef burger for dinner =D

Christmas!

It's finally Christmas! I woke up eagerly this morning to find that Santa Claus had brought me two presents - a set of five Disney Princess books, and a Disney Princess Jigsaw Puzzle. I must have been a really good girl =P

For lunch, we went to Uncle Kheng Hwa's house. Auntie Sulyn is a great cook, and she made us delicious dishes like chilli crab sushi, pizza with huge prawns, hokkien mee and roast duck.

Portia's Daddy and Mummy had bought Christmas crackers along, and I received a few nice trinkets.

For dinner, we went to Uncle Oliver's (one of Mummy's classmate) house. Auntie Amelia is such a funny person, and she kept me entertained for most of the evening.

Snow in Cambridge

It's been snowing ever since we stepped off the airplane from Malta. But the snow is really nice, and I'm so excited (it's the first time I've ever seen snow)!

This is how the playground at home looks like all covered in snow.

Daddy also taught me how to make snowballs and snow angels!

Malta

It is the Christmas holidays, and as Mummy and I didn't have to go to school for some time, we decided to go for a holiday to Malta. We saw many churches, cathedrals and statues, as well as enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the sea and the sunshine.

We also went sightseeing and shopping...

... and took a ride in a horse carriage. Oh yes, apart from Daddy and Mummy, Uncle Daniel also joined us in Malta for a holiday.

After the carriage ride, Daddy tried to feed me to the horse!

There were so many things to do in Malta. I spent some time enjoying the view from our hotel room:

In addition, I enjoyed swinging with Daddy and Mummy:

But the best part of the holiday was the time that I spent dancing in the hotel bar!

Almost Christmas

Christmas is coming soon, but we won't be at home this year to celebrate it at Ah Ma's house. There are Christmasy things to see and do in Cambridge though, and Christmas parties to attend.

1. The shops have started selling gingerbread men. I really enjoyed decorating them, but they're not that nice to eat.

2. Mummy brought me to a children's christmas party at Churchill College. The magician made a rabbit appear out of a chocolate-filled box, and the rabbit ate all the chocolates without sharing them with me. But because I had been a good girl, Santa Claus gave me a box of chocolates as a present.

3. Mummy also invited Daddy and I to a Christmas party at her school. This Santa Claus also gave me a present - a bag of chocolate snowballs and snowmen =D

4. The shopping centres were also decorated to give a festive atmosphere. While the decorations were not as elaborate as those back home, Mummy likes them because they are simple and elegant.

London Museums

Mummy was in London to watch a varsity rugby match today, so Daddy decided to bring me around London to do some sightseeing. We went to the Science Museum, where there were many cars and aeroplanes.

We then went to the Natural History Museum (again) to see dinosaurs. Daddy's really fascinated with them, much more than I am, haha.

We ended the day with a nice treat - yummy ice-cream from MacDonalds!

Randomness

Daddy took a random photo of me at home today while I was lying down on the cool wooden floor. So cute right?

Daddy: Because you are our princess lor.

Me: Princess must marry prince? But Colin is not a prince, I cannot marry him?
Daddy: I am a King and I can make Colin a prince so that you can marry him

Me: Ok!

Conversation 2
Daddy: Zoe you so big already, can Mummy and I eat you?
Me: Noooo! I want to grow bigger.... so that I can marry Colin!

Conversation 3
Mummy: Zoe can you don't suck your thumb anymore? Later your finger not pretty how?
Me: *Bursts into tears* I want to be pretty so that I can marry Colin!

So tired...

I was so tired this afternoon, but Daddy and Mummy insisted on going out to Tesco to buy groceries. I wanted Daddy to carry me so that I could lie on his shoulder, but Daddy came up with a brilliant plan instead.

Here's my new temporary bed :D

Silly Daddy

I had a fun day with silly Daddy today. When we went grocery shopping in the afternoon, Daddy made the Little Men and Little Miss sit with me in the shopping cart. Silly Daddy didn't believe me when I said there was no space for all of us.

Then in the evening, silly Daddy couldn't stop me from talking. I managed to keep my silly Daddy quiet though, haha. I love my silly Daddy!
