Playgrounds

I had a good time playing at playgounds today! In the morning, we went to Grandpa's and Ah Ma's house, and I spent some time scampering around the playground at the park opposite their house.

On our way out for dinner, I played for a short while at the playground at the bottom of our flat. Mummy keeps on wondering if I am a girl, as I fearlessly climbed the ladder up to the slide as well as up the slide itself.

At night, on our way home from dinner, we walked past the playground between the MRT station and our house. I was already sleepily sucking my thumb while being carried by Daddy, but I immediately came alive and eagerly ran around the playground.

Nonsense

Mummy always says that Daddy teaches me nonsense. Haha, here is an example of what Daddy asked me to do today.

Sunday night

I usually shower at Ee Ee Rachael's house after dinner on Sundays, in case I fall asleep in the car on the way home. Today, after my shower, Mummy decided that I would look quite cool dressed up in a toga.

After a while, I got tired of being wrapped up like a bak zhang (dumpling), and decided to play with Ee Ee's toy dog instead.

After the bumble bee comes the...

Chicken! After my Shichida class 3 weeks ago where I was a bumble bee, I dressed up as a baby chick today. I liked being a chick, because both the chick-me and the real me love to eat corn.

Sunglasses

Uncle Choon Leng bought me a pair of sunglasses some time ago, but I wasn't able to wear them because they were too large. They're still a bit too big for me though, and Daddy had to use scotchtape to keep them on my face.

HFMD

I had a fever last night, so Mummy gave me some medicine to take before I went to bed. I felt alright when I woke up this morning, but the fever came back in the afternoon. Suspecting something amiss, Daddy and Mummy checked my hands and feet, and found some red spots. They quickly brought me to see Dr Jack, who confirmed that I had hand, foot and mouth disease. I must have gotten it from my friends at school.

I can't go to school for the next two weeks, but I don't know whether or not I should be happy or sad. There were many blisters in my mouth, and I couldn't eat, drink or suck my thumb without feeling the pain. On the bright side, I get to spend time with Ye Ye and Nai Nai, who would be fussing over me!

Boy or girl?

My Shichida teacher gave me a cap and a bag of goodies today as a Children's Day present. With my cap worn the other way, Mummy thinks that I look very much like a boy. Do you think so too?

Bumble bee

During my Shichida class today, I had the chance to dress up as a bumble bee. I think I would rather be a busy bee that collects pollen than be an ugly mosquito that bites cute babies like me.

Cousin Matthias

My cousin Matthias, whom I affectionately call Di Di, came back from Shanghai this week for a visit. The last time I saw Di Di was in February, when he was only 3 months old. Now Di Di's almost a year old, and is very active. I had to hold him back so that we could take a nice photo together.

I also enjoyed pushing Di Di around in the bicycle that Ye Ye had bought for me when I was younger.

Mosquitoes

Ever since we started sleeping without the aircon on, I have occasionally been bitten by mosquitoes in the middle of the night. Mummy felt that she needed to give the mosquitoes a warning, and she stuck a number of stickers on me so that the mosquitoes would know that they were in a danger zone if they came near me.
