Present for Mummy
I made a photoframe at school today to give to Mummy as a Mother's Day present. I was so proud of myself when I was explaining (by gesturing) to Mummy that I made it by printing my little finger and thumb prints on it. I think Mummy was so touched that she almost teared.

Painful thumb
I have been having a very painful thumb for the past week or so. Daddy and Mummy say that it's because I'm a compulsive thumb-sucker, and that if I don't stop, my thumb will drop off.

Therefore, for the last few nights, I have decided to listen to Daddy and Mummy and tried not to suck my thumb to sleep. The first time I did it was last Saturday (29 April 2008) - Daddy and Mummy says that it's a great achievement, and that they're very proud of me. It took me two whole hours to fall asleep though, as I kept on tossing and turning. I also didn't know what to do with my hands, and I tried many different things - I hugged my bolster, put my hands into my bolster, put my hands into my pillow, wringed my hands, held on to Mr Pooh Bear with both hands, put my hands into my pants, and even held Daddy's and Mummy's hands.

Giddy-up Horsey - then and now
On our way out to dinner today, we passed by the playground that Ye Ye used to bring me to when I was younger.

See how much I've grown since August last year, when Ye Ye took a phote of me playing giddy-up horsey at this playground.

Ah-lian pose
We went for a huge family dinner today to celebrate Granduncle Allan's 60th birthday. Daddy, Mummy, Ah Ma, Grandpa and my uncles and aunties all took turns to entertain me throughout dinner as I didn't want to sit down and wanted to run all around the restaurant.
When it was Ku Ku Jason's (Mummy's cousin) turn to babysit me, this is what he taught me:

Mummy certainly wasn't very amused with Ku kKu Jason's attempt to make me strike an ah-lian pose!

Hiding place for my books
I discovered today that there was a gap at the back of the sofa where I could put my books. Here are the big car, big house, big tree and big dog from my Big and Little soft shapes book:

I sing
We went out as usual for dinner today. In the car, Daddy and Mummy played my usual CD of baby songs. To their surprise and amazement, I started to sing along (well, to at least the last word of each sentence).
