Molten lava cake

I have recently developed a (not-so-healthy) liking for chocolate molten lava cake. I have been craving it for days and made Daddy and Mummy promise that they would buy it for me today. We had lunch at a new restaurant using the 1-for 1- Entertainer discount, but the place didn't sell nice desserts. After lunch Mummy whipped out her smartphone and proclaimed that she had googled and found a place that served gigantic lava cakes that would surely please me. And Mummy was right, as always - I couldn't stop grinning at the sight of the huge volcano in front of me. Yummy!

Family holiday

My cousins are back in Singapore for their summer holidays and Be Be thought it would be a good idea for us to go on a short trip together. So here we are, at Legoland. The three of us went mad these two days, playing at both Legoland as well as the adventure water park.

Yellow banana

The June school holidays will end next week, and Mummy has taken leave for the next few days to keep me company. Today, she brought me out with my friends to watch a movie. We really laughed like mad in the cinema, and I wonder whether Mummy was embarrassed to be associated with me, haha. Perhaps it was the sugar high from lunch, as we had eaten at a place where there was free-flow of ice cream and drinks, slurp :p I was a bit sad when the day ended but I told my friends that we could look forward to next week when they will have a sleepover at my house. Yay, thank you once again mummy!

Who had the greatest treat?

Daddy surprised us this evening by making reservations for a buffet dinner at Melt. The occasion? Mummy's birthday! I love seeing the variety of food at buffets, especially the different kinds of sweet treats. See my big grin and my chocolate ice cream with rainbow sprinkles on top!

Pooh!

Mummy and I came home to a surprise this evening! Daddy had left this afternoon for an overseas work trip and he had made a post-it Pooh before he went off. He's my amazingly creative Daddy :)

SEA Games

Last week after I got home from school, I asked Daddy and Mummy if we could go to the SEA games. I told them how exciting it sounded, and asked whether we would see dolphins and turtles in the sea. They laughed at me! On then did I find out that SEA didn't refer to the water type of sea - silly me! Daddy and Mummy obliged me though, and we bought tickets to watch the diving finals today. I watched a few people jump off the platform into the water with a splash but after a while, it all got a bit boring. I think I had more fun taking photos outside with the cut-outs of the SEA games mascot :)

School holiday activity

A few weeks ago, Mummy had signed me up in advance for a school holiday badminton camp. At first I thought it was a proper camp where I would have to bring a sleeping bag and stay overnight, but chey, I realised that the 'camp' was just 4 lessons of 2 hours each. Nevertheless, I did enjoy my first lesson today. See me in action!

I am 9 today

Today is my actual birthday, but I was half sad and half happy about it. It is exams period now, and I had a maths exam in school this morning. But I did look forward to Mummy picking me up early in the afternoon, as she took leave from work just for me! During dinner, the restaurant gave us a free sundae because it's my very special day. And naughty Daddy just had to try to steal my ice cream :)

The last thing I did before I went to bed was our usual birthday tradition. Daddy marked out my height to see how much I've grown in the past year. I'm going to be taller than Mummy soon, woohoo!

Birthday party

I woke up all excited today because we are celebrating my birthday at home! I couldn't sleep all night as I was dreaming about my party, where I will see my family, they will buy me presents, and I will have a nice Frozen cake to share with them.

You can see how really excited I was :)

Pre-birthday dinner with friends

Knowing that my birthday was coming up, Mummy decided to ask my friends' mummies if we could meet up. We decided to meet at the airport, where there was much space for us to run about. We would also be able to pick up Daddy from his business trip later at night.

Thank you Mummy for treating us all to dinner at my favourite Thai Express.
