After our reunion dinner this evening, I went back to Ye Ye's and Nai Nai's house as I wanted to stay the night there with my cousins. At the foot of their block, I came across a huge pile of newspapers meant for tomorrow. I couldn't resist sitting on the throne!

Sunday brunch
Welcome to (my) House!
Mummy and I had Sunday brunch with her cousins this morning at House@Dempsey. The food was not bad, and my hot chocolate came with a pretty picture on top.
This is the first time actually that my aunties and uncles have gone out together for a meal without their parents. Today's lunch was a treat by Ku Ku Jason (the eldest cousin) and his wife Auntie Michele. Mummy, who's the next oldest, said that it would be her turn next. I look forward to seeing everyone soon!

Spending time with Daddy
Daddy didn't have to work this afternoon so he brought me out to the park to have some fun. Thank you Daddy!

Back to school
After so much fun over the last few weeks, the school holidays have finally come to an end. Today's the first day back at school, and Mummy and I left the house even before the sun was up.
I reached school very early and had to wait for some time before school started. As I was waiting, my teacher asked me to help hold a sign so that my classmates would know where to queue up. I am a good helper!

New Year's eve
Mummy only had to work in the morning today, so she brought me out to have a play date with Ashley. We went to Vivocity, where we had great fun in the playground after lunch. Daddy couldn't join us unfortunately, as he said that he had to work in the afternoon.
In the evening after Daddy came home, we went to Holland Village for dinner. We had wanted to rent DVDs but the shop was closed by the time we got there, and we ended up watching TV at home after dinner. I was too tired to wait up for the new year though, and I fell asleep by about 11pm. Daddy and Mummy tried to wake me when midnight came, but I continued sleeping on Daddy's shoulder as he carried me to the top floor of our block of flats to watch the fireworks, haha. Happy new year everyone!

Seeing stars and planets
Mummy told me some months back that there was a giant telescope at the Science Centre, and that on Friday nights, anyone could go and use the telescope to see stars. I've been bugging Mummy ever since to bring me to the Science Centre, and it was only today that Daddy and Mummy agreed.
I got to see Jupiter through the telescope, as well as 3 of its 4 moons. I also learnt that there are many many stars in the sky and that they are arranged in constellations. I was surprised when the guide told us the names of some of them e.g. Orion, because I recognise them from my Greek Goddess Girls story books. Awesome!

Christmas everywhere
Here's a collection of the various Christmas photos that I've taken round the island over the Christmas period :)

Christmas day
I love Christmas! I spent much of the morning watching the iPad and TV, haha. In the afternoon, we went to Tanglin Mall for lunch and a Starbucks Christmas drink, and to soak in some of the Christmas atmosphere.
In the evening, we went to Lao Ku's house for dinner. Mummy says that when she was younger, Christmas used to be celebrated at Grandpa's and Ah Ma's house every year. Mummy would spend all day eating, and all her cousins, Uncles and Aunties would be there too.
We forgot to take a photo of all the presents that I received this year, but I want to thank everyone who made me happy!

Mass on Christmas Eve
Mummy brought me to church today for the 9pm Christmas eve mass. It was a different church from the one that we usually go to near our house, as Uncle Greg had invited us to join him and his family at Holy Family. This is the first year that I haven't been bored at mass - do you know why? I realised that I can read now, so I can follow the words of the proceedings and can sing along to the hymms =)
