Uncle Fang Qun also bought me a book about Peter rabbit and he took the time to read it to me. It's such a scary book though, as Peter rabbit's daddy was eaten by a man.

Peter Rabbit
Uncle Fang Qun came to visit us in Cambridge today, and we went out to dinner together. He had bought us some wine, but I know that I cannot drink it, as I will otherwise be drunk.

Ely
It's the weekend again, and as we often do, we took a short drive to a new place that we've never been. Today's destination was Ely, a smal town that's about 30min away from where we stay.

As we were walking about, Mummy couldn't resist taking a photo of this sign that we saw outside a church:

We then went to the main attraction of Ely - the Cathedral.

It's really peaceful inside, and I quietened down as we walked in, knowing that this was a place for prayer.

The stained glass windows were also really beautiful. It's such a pity that we didn't have a better camera (or a better photographer!) so that we could get nicer pictures.

Fireworks and more fireworks
Daddy and Mummy brought me to Midsummer Commons last Thursday to view the fireworks display for Guy Fawkes Day. Mummy's not very proficient with using the video recording function on her phone though, so you'll have to tilt your head (or tilt your computer screen) to watch the videos...
Inspired by the fireworks display, Daddy had bought some fireworks from the supermarket. After dinner tonight, we tried out our own fireworks. I think Daddy had more fun than me playing with them, haha.

Raving Rabids
I met Kaijie at the playground today, but when it got dark, I invited him over to my house instead. Daddy set up the Wii for us, and we played an exciting game of Raving Rabids. Check out my groovy moves!

Halloween
I'm so excited! Today is Halloween and this is the first time that I'm celebrating it. Daddy and Mummy even bought me a witch costume.
My He Ma (hippo) also got to try on my hat:

In the morning, we went to my school for a Halloween party. We went together with my friend Kaijie, who was dressed up as a pumpkin. He looks just like the pumpkin that I was colouring.
In the evening after dinner, Daddy and Mummy brought me out trick-or-treating with my friends. There was a really scary pumpkin with glowing eyes. At one of the houses that I visited, I was also frightened by the man who answered the door, as he was dressed up as a penguin.

Wimpole Farm
Yay, I woke up very excited this morning because Daddy and Mummy had promised to bring me to a real farm this time! I also get to go with Kaijie, my best friend in Cambridge, and his Daddy and his Mummy.

We saw many animals there. Daddy and Mummy pointed out the ducks and chickens to me, but somehow they look different from what I see on my dinner plate?

Apart from the two-legged animals, we also saw some four-legged ones. They are so much bigger, and the horses are even taller than Daddy.

At one part of the farm, I suddenly stopped, took a whiff and scrunched up my face. So chou chou (smelly)! I don't think my pink hippo (from Auntie Audrey) liked the smell very much too.

There were so many different kinds of pigs! Orange and black baby pigs, and pink Mummy pigs. We also saw yummy black pigs (the kind that are often served in Japanese ramen restaurants), and Daddy said that Auntie Xiuhui would be really really pleased to see them.

Sightseeing
Auntie Han Ping (Daddy and Mummy's friend) was in London for work last week, and she stopped over in Cambridge today.

We took a bus to the city centre, where we started our sightseeing tour looking at the model of the city:

The first place that we visited was King's College and King's College Chapel. Daddy and I have been here before, so we proudly showed off the place to Mummy and Auntie Han Ping.

We then walked over to Clare College. Along the way, we saw cows (I think?) and a duck.

As we were leaving Clare College, we saw a huge teddy with pink clothes at the top of the building, haha.

Our last stop was Trinity College:

Toys and trees
There was a commerative tree-planting ceremony at our college this morning to mark the fiftieth anniversary of its founding. Exactly 50 years ago, Sir Winston Churchill made his one and only visit to the site of what is now our home for the next year, where to mark that occasion Sir Winston planted a mulberry tree. Today, Lady Soames, Sir Winston's daughter, planted a tree to celebrate 50 successful years of her father's vision.
In the afternoon, I decided to assemble the best of my forces. Here are the vehicles from the playground:

As well as the monster animals from the Toys R Us store!

One month
It's been one month since we arrived here. We've had many new things - from our home, to our car, and my school. Today will also be the first time that I'll be sleeping in my own bed in my own room, instead of sleeping on the mattress on the floor in Daddy's and Mummy's room.

The weather has been steadily growing colder, and the sunny days should be going away soon. In preparation for winter, Mummy took out my new white puffy jacket from the cupboard today. I think I look like the abominable snowman ;)

Pizza
I had a great day in school today! I had the chance to make my own pizza, and I naturally put my favourite mushrooms and sweet corn on the top. When Daddy came to pick me up after school, I didn't allow him to touch my pizza, as I wanted to wait for Mummy to come home so that I could share the pizza with her. Mummy was quite late today though, and I was hungry, so Daddy tore off a corner for me to eat first. When we went to fetch Mummy, I clutched the pizza tightly in my hand and eagerly showed off to her the minute she stepped in the car.
