Hunter Valley and Blue Mountain

We have been spending quite some time in our rental car these two days, and I bet Daddy wishes that he is driving his nice vroom vroom instead. We went to Hunter Valley yesterday, where I got to eat free cheese and chocolate on an otherwise boring tour of the vineyards.

Today we are spending the night in Blue Mountain. Mummy took a photo of a nice bridge that we drove through along the way, but as usual I was too fast asleep to even notice it.

We did the touristy Three Sisters walk when we arrived in the evening.

As it was a little chilly, I decided to warm myself up by doing a jump shot, woohoo!

Unlike our modern-looking hotel room in Watsons Bay, we had a quaint old hotel in Blue Mountain. But it's ok, I'm happy as long as I have a cozy blanket and bed.

Watsons Bay

I slept for most of the 7-hour flight to Sydney. I groggily walked around the airport, where Daddy picked up our rental car. I slept again throughout most of the drive to our hotel at Watsons Bay, but this time I woke up all refreshed and eager to go exploring.

The hotel is right next to the beach, and Daddy and I crazily went swimming in the ice-cold sea water:

After our invigorating swim, we went to explore the city area in Sydney. Mummy made me pose in front of the opera house as well as the famous harbour bridge.

After dinner at a bustling Italian restaurant by the riverside, Daddy drove us back to our hotel. The view from our room at night was simply amazing - what a great way to end our first day in Sydney!

Going on a holidaaaay

And we're off for our holiday! Our flight was at 2am, and as we had time and not much luggage, we decided to take the MRT to the airport.

Two Weeks with Mummy

Today is the start of Mummy's two-week leave to spend time with me! As she had stayed up late last night to finish off her work, I waited quietly and patiently for her to wake up this morning. But as I got a little bit bored waiting, I decided to show my love for her by making her breakfast. Mummy seemed really really pleased to wake up to the sight and smell of this:

In the afternoon, we went to have my nails done. This is the first time that I've ever had a manicure, and I was pleased to be pampered. I picked a shiny purple colour (of course).

Men in Black

Did you know that Singapore has our very own men in black? Mummy and I came across these statues when we tried out a new eating place this evening.

Home-made Cookies

Today was a typical lazy Sunday with nothing much at home to do. Felt like a good day to bake cookies, so ta-da!

Random Tattoo

We went for lunch at a shopping centre today. As it was Halloween, the place had various activities for children as part of its celebrations. I got myself a random tattoo that had nothing to do with Halloween, hahahaha.

Cherry Blossoms

Daddy and Mummy brought me to a wedding dinner this evening. I usually wear a pretty pink dress for nice occasions like this, and the colour went really well with the real live cherry blossoms that had been specially flown in to decorate the ballroom.

Children's Day Party

I've been bubbling with glee at the thought of having fun at the Children's Day Party organised by Mummy's office. And true enough, apart from getting a nice goodie bag of snacks, I made bubbles too :)

Hot chocolate moustache

After dinner at Orchard Road today, Daddy and Mummy suggested getting a drink nearby. As it's such a rare treat, of course I jumped at the chance to have something nice and warm. Can you see my huge grin beneath my hot chocolate moustache?
