Earrings

Mummy said that if I passed my swimming test, she would allow me to pierce my ears. So today, Maggie Lao Ee and Ah Ma brought me to the jewellery shop. I picked out my own flower earrings, and although I was a little scared, I made sure that I sat very still when my ears were being pierced. Mummy has to help me clean my ears for the next 6 weeks to make sure they do not become infected, and after that I can wear any earrings that I like. There are a few pairs of Mummy's earrings that I'm already eyeing, muahahah!

Swimming test

As Daddy and Mummy had to work, Ye Ye brought me to Yishun swimming pool for my swimming test this evening. I passed, yay!

Artistic pancakes

As Mummy had to work this afternoon at Turf City, we decided to go for lunch. There was a pancakes place which Mummy had been wanting to bring me for a while now, and we finally had the chance to try it today. Don't you love my art brain and artistic pancakes?

Hanging out

I did a cool thing with Daddy and Mummy today, haha. We hung out at Starbucks after dinner, where I enjoyed a Christmas Frappuccino while reading my book. Nice!

Sleepover

The day after we got back from our holiday, Mummy offered to have my friends sleep over at our house. Mummy is so sweet, as she knows that I like to play with my friends and spend time with them.

We had an enjoyable time, from dressing up to playing games to running around in the playground. Thanks Mummy for treating me like a princess :)

Yes, a holiday!

I'm so excited about going for a holiday to Shanghai! It's a family holiday this time, as we will be staying with Ye Ye and Nai Nai in Be Be's house. I will also have time to play with my cousins whom I haven't seen in a few months.

This is me enjoying a foot massage while waiting eagerly at the airport for our flight last week:

The weather was not as cold as I had thought it would be, which was a pity as I really wanted to wear my brand new, pink down jacket. One of our mornings was spent at the Chrysanthemum Gardens, where there were sculptures made of plants.

There were also amusement rides within the Garden:

There was another morning where we went to the zoo:

In addition, we spent some time sightseeing. I didn't really like walking much but I did enjoy feeding the fishes:

I had a nice time in Shanghai, but I'm also glad to be back home today!

Christmas is coming

The shopping malls are starting to play Christmas music and the shops are starting to sell Christmas decorations and gifts. Can I be a reindeer this year and help Santa pull his sleigh?

The school holidays have arrived

It's the start of the year-end school holidays! As Ye Ye and Nai Nai were flying off today, and Daddy and Mummy were working, Maggie Lao Ee took care of me today. I had way too much fun - swimming at the pool, as well as going out with Lao Ee and Ah Ma for lunch. Best of all, Daddy and Mummy allowed me to sleep over at Lao Ee's house - what an adventure!

New hula hoop

Mummy and I have been using the hula hoop that I had received for a birthday present earlier this year. In fact we've both enjoyed it and used it so often that it broke a few days ago :(

Today as we were out for lunch, I chanced upon a nice pink hula hoop. Mummy and I can hula-hoop again to our hearts' content :)

Tricked!

I was definitely wowed and tricked today! Mummy had bought tickets to the Trick Eye Museum at RWS and invited Grandpa and Ah Ma to join us on our magical adventure.

I pulled down the pants of a naughty boy...

... turned myself into a pretty mermaid...

.. made friends with a giant kitten and an elephant...

.. almost became a cannon but luckily the man saw me in time to stop lighting the fuse...

... and become really strong, so strong that I could stand on one hand. Awesome!
