Ice and tulips

We usually spend weekends and public holidays doing the same things, so I was pleasantly surprised and excited today when Daddy and Mummy said that we would be going to not just one, but TWO new places today!

First up was the ice-art exhibition at Marina Bay. It was freezing cold inside and I loved it! Apart from looking at the various ice sculptures, Daddy and I had great fun sliding down the ice slope.

After we had frozen ourselves silly, we decided to brave the hot weather at Gardens by the Bay. Tulips are Mummy's favourite flower, and Daddy very lovingly decided to take us to Flower Dome.

The beautiful tulips had been specially flown in from the Netherlands, and they came in all sorts of colours. While we didn't see Mummy's favourite two-toned tulips, I think Mummy was really touched at how sweet Daddy was. Awesome Daddy!

Ashley's birthday

Ashley's birthday is coming, and she had invited a few of her childcare friends to her chalet. As Mummy had to work that day, she said at first that she would only be able to bring me to the chalet in the evening after work. But when Mummy realised how disappointed I would be, she asked Ashley's mummy if I could go to Ashley's house after school and go along with them to the chalet. Thank you Mummy and thank you Auntie Monica!

I'm so glad that I was able to meet my friends early. We had great fun at McDonald's...

... as well as in the swimming pool.

Happy birthday Ashley!

Hand painting

We didn't really have much to do this weekend, so when Daddy read in the newspapers that Volkswagen was having a family carnival, he decided to bring us there to have some fun.

I had a lot of snacks, like popcorn, ice-cream and a hot dog. I was also very excited to see the hand painting booth. Doesn't this look like Blue in Rio?

Edgar Ku Ku's birthday

As tomorrow is Edgar Ku Ku's birthday, we had a dinner celebration today with our family. See him grin so widely at the sight of his favourite cake?

Strawberry roses

Mummy had invited some friends over to our house for lunch today. One of them brought along strawberries for dessert, and they were really sweet and juicy.

Apart from being yummy, I also found out today that strawberries can be used to make art! Haha, see what Daddy has done with them - beautiful aren't they?

Another fun-filled weekend

Recently my weekends with Daddy and Mummy have become more interesting, as we try and find different things to do. This morning we went swimming at a different pool from our usual one. It was much larger and had awesome water slides and a river. I had a very good appetite after that and almost ate an entire pizza for lunch.

In the evening, we went to Volkswagen showroom as there was a family weekend with exciting things to do. Look at my own set of wheels, wrooom!

Friends and superhero

Today's the last day before school starts tomorrow and Mummy arranged for me to have lunch with my old friends from Kinderland. I always enjoy meeting them and laughing together.

After lunch, Mummy and I walked around the shops for a while as we waited for Daddy to come join us. Look what we found there? My favourite superhero, who's more handsome than my favourite Daddy!

March holidays

This whole week has been the March school holidays, and Daddy and Mummy finally took leave today to spend time with me. Thanks to a discount that Mummy bought from Groupon, we had the chance to try out a new place for lunch today.

As we were waiting for the food to arrive, I explored the surroundings and found a giant chess piece...

... and a cool swimming pool that had chairs inside the water.

Movie with Ye Ye

Ye Ye brought me to Vivocity this afternoon to watch Mr Peabody and Sherman. As we were walking around the shops while waiting for the movie to start, we saw a gigantic chair in one of the shops. Look how small I am compared to the chair that I'm sitting on!

The movie was about a boy (Sherman) who was adopted by a dog called Mr Peabody. Both of them would use their time machine and go on funky adventures. If I had a time machine, I think I will go back in time to when God was alive on earth and ask him whether he can make me an ice-cream, yummy.

Family carnival

Daddy had to wake up early this morning to take his physical fitness test at Jurong SAFRA. Mummy and I decided to accompany him, as we had read in the news that there would be a fun-filled family carnival there. I played at the various game stalls and won some prizes. I also enjoyed myself on the bouncy castle.

Make a guess though as to whether Daddy passed his physical fitness test?
