Mummy and I went shopping with Lao Ee Maggie at Orchard Road today. I'm so happy because Mummy and Lao Ee both bought me Christmas presents, and I can't wait for Christmas to come! See me carrying the bag of presents in the photo below.

Movie day
Mummy brought me to watch the movie Justin today. Justin is a brave boy who wants to be a knight. I laughed very loudly at the last part of the movie where the rich girl thought that Justin wanted to marry her but yet all Justin did was to give her a sock!
Anyway, there were other movies such as Lego and Frozen that were being advertised at the theatre - I can't wait to watch them all!

BBQ with friends
My old childcare teacher organised a BBQ today for her old students, and she had invited me along. I played a lot with my old friends, until I was very sweaty. I also ate lots of yummy food, like cotton candy (we made our own!) and gooey toasted marshmallows.
Thank you Ms Careen for inviting me, and Daddy and Mummy for bringing me there!

Mummy's home
I missed Mummy so much while she was away. Her flight will arrive back in Singapore very late tonight, and I wasn't sure if I would still be awake by the time she reached home. So, I made a nice card for her instead :)
Daddy also got Mummy a present and some flowers to welcome her home!

A weekend with Daddy
I don't always get to spend very much time with my Daddy, so this weekend, with Mummy away, was a really special time where I got his undivided attention.
Yesterday, Daddy brought me to Orchard Road in the morning, as we wanted to watch Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2. The tickets were sold out though, so we decided to watch Thor later in the evening instead. While we were at Isetan Scotts, Daddy brought me to the bakery, where I asked Daddy to buy the nice bread that Mummy likes.
While we were there, a stranger also gave me a magic wand :) In the afternoon, while Daddy went out to run some errands, I watched many many YouTube videos, yay!
Today we celebrated Maggie Lao Ee's birthday with a dim sum lunch. Here's a smiley face for Mummy, who will be coming home tomorrow!

Halloween party
Mummy had left for a work trip yesterday, so it would be just Daddy and I at home for the next few days. This evening, Daddy brought me to a Halloween party organised by the parent volunteers in my school.
I was dressed like a cute little witch, and I even made my own magic wand. The decorations in school were amazing! There were giant spiders and bats, and the food was creepily scary too!

Children's Day outing
When Mummy learnt some weeks ago that her office was organising a Children's Day outing, she had quickly asked my friends' parents if they wanted to sign up as well. I'm so excited today, as the outing is finally here!
We went to the children's playground in the Botanic Gardens in the morning:
We then stopped for lunch at the McDonalds in Kallang, before we proceeded to Kids Kampung. It's my first time there, and I didn't know what to expect.
I certainly didn't expect that I would have the chance to hold a mouse by its tail!

Dinner at the airport
Daddy had a late afternoon/evening meeting in Tampines, so Mummy decided to bring me to the eastern part of our island to meet Daddy for dinner. We ended up at the airport, which has grown to be a place where even non-travellers go to eat and shop.
I found a very cute toy at one of the shops. Hint hint, maybe Daddy and Mummy can buy for me for Christmas?!

Home-made teddy bear
Edwina Lao Ee had bought me a teddy bear-making kit for Christmas some time ago, but I didn't get round to playing with it until now. Mummy and I, with some help from Daddy, cut, stuffed and sewed our little blue teddy bear.
Ta-da, isn't she lovely?!

Mid-Autumn
Like we did two years ago, Mummy and I spent Mid-Autumn festival at the playground downstairs. Daddy couldn't be home with us, but I made sure to ask Mummy to take photos to show Daddy later.
Mummy found some old lanterns that we had kept in the storeroom. The battery-operated one was spoilt already unfortunately, but the traditional one with the candle still worked, yay! Mummy also found some sparklers, and I happily set some of them off. And what a coincidence it was, as there was another girl in the playground who was also playing with sparklers. I thus made a new friend, and the two of us had great fun together!
