It's the school holidays this week! Afraid that I'll be bored, Mummy specially arranged for me to have dinner with my friends. Thank you Mummy for being so thoughtful :)

Staycation
Daddy brought Mummy and me to our first ever staycation yesterday and today. We went to W, where the hotel room was really very nice. I especially loved the bathtub, as I got to swim in it and laze around for as long as I wanted. It was a pity though that the weather wasn't very good, so we didn't manage to use the hotel pool. But all in all, I had a great time. Thank you Daddy!

Daddy on holiday
I had drawn Daddy a cartoon character for each day that Daddy would be away, so that Daddy will think of me and not miss me so much. Look how sweet Daddy was - he not only brought my drawings along, but he took photos of them too at the places that he visited, so that he can share his happy moments with me!

Bye bye Daddy
Daddy went off on his own for a holiday in Europe tonight as he needed some time to himself. At the airport, when Daddy went through the immigration gates, I burst into tears and couldn't stop crying as I wanted Daddy to be with me.
I will miss Daddy very much, and I can't wait for him to come back.

Fun-filled day
I had a fun-filled day today. In the morning we had my favourite dim sum.
I then did some colouring at a booth in Vivocity.
In the afternoon, we baked cookies at home together :)

Buffet dinner
Daddy, Mummy and I recently started going for the buffet dinner at Hard Rock Hotel. Today, we decided to bring Ye Ye and Nai Nai along for a treat, so that they too can enjoy the good food.

National Day Parade
I woke up very excited this morning because I can't wait to go for the national day parade. I may only be 7 years old, but this is my third parade already! This year, we managed to ballot for 4 tickets. Ye Ye went with Daddy, Mummy and me. Maggie Lao Ee and Lao Tio Michael also went to the parade, but they were sitting in a different sector from us. The best part of the parade was when the little children went on stage and pretended to be mini versions of the parade emcees. They were really funny and I wish I could be on stage like them too. I also enjoyed the performances as well as the fireworks, and I loved singing along to the national day songs.

National Day celebrations
We celebrated National Day in school today. All my friends came dressed in red, and instead of having classes, we played games instead. It was a short day in school too, and I got to go home early, yay!

Mummy's new phone
Mummy bought a new phone last week after she gave her old Samsung S3 to Ah Ma. Ah Ma was using a really slow phone and Mummy thought that Ah Ma would be quite happy with the S3. Mummy had originally wanted to buy a HTC One, but when she went to the store, the salesgirl showed her the new HTC Butterfly S that was just launched that same day. It's got about the same features as the HTC One, including the cool photo feature (called the HTC Zoe) named after me! Look at the photos that Mummy took with her new phone - who are all these Zoes and how many places can I be at one time?

National day party
Mummy had bought a ticket to the national day party organised by the residents' committee, so she brought me to have a look this morning. I played a few games and won some prizes. I also tried my hand at archery:
In the afternoon, after being inspired by the cake that was served at the national day party earlier in the morning, I decided to make my own cupcakes with PlayDoh:
