Mummy's new phone

Mummy bought a new phone last week after she gave her old Samsung S3 to Ah Ma. Ah Ma was using a really slow phone and Mummy thought that Ah Ma would be quite happy with the S3. Mummy had originally wanted to buy a HTC One, but when she went to the store, the salesgirl showed her the new HTC Butterfly S that was just launched that same day. It's got about the same features as the HTC One, including the cool photo feature (called the HTC Zoe) named after me! Look at the photos that Mummy took with her new phone - who are all these Zoes and how many places can I be at one time?

National day party

Mummy had bought a ticket to the national day party organised by the residents' committee, so she brought me to have a look this morning. I played a few games and won some prizes. I also tried my hand at archery:

In the afternoon, after being inspired by the cake that was served at the national day party earlier in the morning, I decided to make my own cupcakes with PlayDoh:

Daddy's birthday

It's Daddy's birthday today, and both Daddy and Mummy took leave in the afternoon. They picked me up early from Ye Ye's house after school, and together we went home so that Mummy could cook Daddy a special birthday dinner. Mummy and I also baked cookies for Daddy, as well as made birthday cards for him. Happy birthday Daddy, I love you!

My first date

Mummy had to attend a wedding dinner, so it was just Daddy and I tonight. Daddy, at Mummy's urging, decided to bring me out on a date tonight. I always wonder what Daddy and Mummy do when they go out on their date every month, and know I finally know. It's quite boring as a date is just like a normal dinner, where we eat and talk only. But Daddy was extra nice to me though, because he ordered my favourite spicy (ramen) noodles. Thanks Daddy!

Flowers

Daddy normally drinks coffee every morning when he is at work. Recently, he's started drinking coffee on weekends too. Ssssh, let me tell you a secret - I think Daddy is actually a monster who becomes human only when he has drunk coffee! Anyway, Daddy went down to the hawker centre this morning as usual to buy his coffee. When he got back, he had a surprise for Mummy and me. A rose for Mummy and a sunflower-like flower for me!

Ah Ma's birthday

Hee, we celebrated Ah Ma's birthday twice this year. The first time was last Saturday, when we had a buffet dinner with Ah Ma's sisters and brother, and their families. The second time was today, which is Ah Ma's actual birthday. We also had a buffet dinner - so much good food to eat, yummy!

Chalet

The school holidays is almost coming to an end, but this last weekend must be the best one yet! We checked in to a chalet yesterday with my friends Celest, Ashley and Yixuan, after which we went grocery shopping and had dinner together. This evening, we had a barbeque where we invited a few of our old friends and teachers from Kinderland. I'm a bit sad that we're checking out tomorrow but I'm sure that I'll see my friends again very soon. Till next time!

Slurpee!

I have been craving a slurpee for the past few days but for some strange reason, the slurpee machines at many 7-11 stores have not been working! Today was my very lucky day though. Mummy and I were at Vivocity to watch yet another movie, and we walked past the 7-11 near the theatre. Look at how pleased I am =p

Sleepover

After being cooped up at home for much of the June school holidays, Mummy thought it would be a good break for her and I to have a sleepover at Maggie Lao Ee's house this weekend. I certainly had a lot of fun as I made Ee Ee Rachael play many silly games with me. The bed at Lao Ee's house is much cosier than mine, and I woke up later than I normally would have at home.

This morning after breakfast, Lao Ee accompanied Mummy and I to church. It was a really old non-airconditioned church that I've never seen before, and I'm not sure if I liked it. After mass, Mummy and I walked across the road to visit the Singapore Arts Museum. The exhibitions are pretty cool aren't they?

Movies

Mummy and I went to the movie theatre to watch Monsters University today. While we were there, we saw the scary Wolverine who tried to kill me with his sharp claws!
