Silly Daddy

I had a fun day with silly Daddy today. When we went grocery shopping in the afternoon, Daddy made the Little Men and Little Miss sit with me in the shopping cart. Silly Daddy didn't believe me when I said there was no space for all of us.

Then in the evening, silly Daddy couldn't stop me from talking. I managed to keep my silly Daddy quiet though, haha. I love my silly Daddy!

Library and friends

We used to go to the libary every week when we were back home, but since we arrived in Cambridge, we haven't yet been to one. So this afternoon, for the first time, Daddy and Mummy brought me to the library to borrow books. This is the outside of the library:

In the evening, we had friends over for dinner. We often eat at Kaijie's house, so today was Daddy's and Mummy's turn to cook dinner instead. Mummy's classmate, Uncle Wee Siang and his family also came over for dinner. The three of us - Kaijie, Portia and I, had a lot of fun playing with the Wii afterwards.

Face painting

As part of the Children in Need day in the nursery today, we came to school in our pyjamas. It was a day for us to do something different and raise funds for charity. So, we tried out face-painting today. I am supposed to be a (pink and purple) tiger, roaaar!

London (Part 2)

After a good night's sleep in Chloe's house, we continued our sightseeing in London today with Daddy and Mummy's friends. I took a photo with Uncle Sebas at Trafalgar Square, where the sun was shining brightly in my eyes.

Next, we walked to a place when we saw guards in red riding on black horses.

Along the way, we passed by a place with many pigeons. I ran after them, but they all flew away before I could catch them.

We also went to visit Buckingham Palace...

... as well as the Big Ben.

After walking around all morning, Mummy brought me to a church in Bayswater for mass. It was a very small and old church, and Mummy said that she used to go there for mass every week a long time ago when she was studying in London. After lunch (where we had duck rice at the famous Four Seasons restaurant), we went window shopping at Whiteleys. The Muji shop had a cute white paper penguin that looked like me:

To finish off our weekend in London, we went out for dinner. Daddy and I went back to Bayswater for dinner with Chloe and some of his friends, while Mummy went to Leicester Square. After dinner, we went to meet Mummy so that we could go back home together. We remembered just in time to take a photo before we parted ways =P

London for the weekend

Today is a special day. Six years ago today, Daddy and Mummy (when they weren't yet Daddy and Mummy, cos I wasn't born yet) got married at the beach at East Coast. I also want to be like Mummy and Daddy one day, and I want to marry Colin from my childcare centre back home.

But for today, I am happy to go with Daddy and Mummy to London for the weekend, where we will stay at Chloe's house =)

We went to the Natural History Museum in the late morning. I saw a huge bird that was even bigger than me:

There were also huge eggs in the musuem. I like to eat eggs, especially the yolk, yummy.

In the afternoon, we went to Piccadily Circus and stopped by an arcade in Trocadero (shopping centre).

At night, we met some of Daddy and Mummy's friends (who were here in London for work) for dinner and walked with them down Oxford Street.

Peter Rabbit

Uncle Fang Qun came to visit us in Cambridge today, and we went out to dinner together. He had bought us some wine, but I know that I cannot drink it, as I will otherwise be drunk.

Uncle Fang Qun also bought me a book about Peter rabbit and he took the time to read it to me. It's such a scary book though, as Peter rabbit's daddy was eaten by a man.

Ely

It's the weekend again, and as we often do, we took a short drive to a new place that we've never been. Today's destination was Ely, a smal town that's about 30min away from where we stay.

As we were walking about, Mummy couldn't resist taking a photo of this sign that we saw outside a church:

We then went to the main attraction of Ely - the Cathedral.

It's really peaceful inside, and I quietened down as we walked in, knowing that this was a place for prayer.

The stained glass windows were also really beautiful. It's such a pity that we didn't have a better camera (or a better photographer!) so that we could get nicer pictures.

Fireworks and more fireworks

Daddy and Mummy brought me to Midsummer Commons last Thursday to view the fireworks display for Guy Fawkes Day. Mummy's not very proficient with using the video recording function on her phone though, so you'll have to tilt your head (or tilt your computer screen) to watch the videos...

Inspired by the fireworks display, Daddy had bought some fireworks from the supermarket. After dinner tonight, we tried out our own fireworks. I think Daddy had more fun than me playing with them, haha.

Raving Rabids

I met Kaijie at the playground today, but when it got dark, I invited him over to my house instead. Daddy set up the Wii for us, and we played an exciting game of Raving Rabids. Check out my groovy moves!

Halloween

I'm so excited! Today is Halloween and this is the first time that I'm celebrating it. Daddy and Mummy even bought me a witch costume.

My He Ma (hippo) also got to try on my hat:

In the morning, we went to my school for a Halloween party. We went together with my friend Kaijie, who was dressed up as a pumpkin. He looks just like the pumpkin that I was colouring.

I took a photo with my teacher Kat, though she wasn't dressed up as a cat.

In the evening after dinner, Daddy and Mummy brought me out trick-or-treating with my friends. There was a really scary pumpkin with glowing eyes. At one of the houses that I visited, I was also frightened by the man who answered the door, as he was dressed up as a penguin.

Here are the three of us with our big haul of sweets at the end of the night!
