My family

It was a lazy Monday evening after dinner and my shower, and Daddy and Mummy decided on a new game where I was to repeat what they said. We started off with the names of my family members:

The Going to Bed Book

Auntie Sharon and Uncle Emmanuel had bought me The Going to Bed Book (by Sandra Boynton) last month for my birthday, and Daddy or Mummy would read it to me every night before we went to bed.

Encouraged by my success in naming my family members, Daddy and Mummy decided to test me to see if I could read the book on my own. I think I did quite well.

My own set of wheels

Ye Ye and Nai Nai bought me my own set of wheels last week, and Daddy and Mummy brought me downstairs today to play with my new car. Watch me in action.

Eeww, ear wax!

Daddy thinks I'm very dirty because Mummy took this (see photo below, on the right) out from my ear today.

But I don't mind, since I can hear much better now.

Stickers on our noses

My teachers stuck some stickers on my shirt today, and I proudly showed them to Daddy and Mummy when they came to pick me up in the evening. During dinner, I started fussing because I was bored and the food was taking very long to come. To entertain me, Mummy took off a sticker and put it on my nose. I then demanded that Mummy do the same for her own nose. Daddy decided that he had to take a photo of his two girls looking so silly.

Up on the Singapore Flyer

We went to the Singapore Flyer today for a Family Day organised by Daddy's and Mummy's office.

I was very excited to be in the capsule because there were many things to see. The people and cars on the ground all looked very small.

But the buildings were so tall!

After a while, the scenery looked the same. There was nothing new for me to see.

At the end of the day, I was tired and thirsty. But I certainly had fun!

Sand

We went to Tiong Bahru park today, and as usual, Daddy and Mummy tried to help me overcome my phobia of sand by bringing me to the sand pit. Mummy sat me on her lap, and let my feet dangle just above the sand. Instead of freezing up and screaming to be picked up, I surprised them today. Watch me try and build a sand castle with my empty raisin box.

My second birthday

Today is my birthday. I am two years old. I get to celebrate my birthday in school today. Mummy prepared the goodie bags last night so that I could give them out to my friends.

Daddy and Mummy also bought me a big cake to bring to school. It has my favourite Mr Pooh Bear on it. I was a bit dazed though when I was asked to blow out the candles, because I had just woken up from my afternoon nap.

Here are my friends at school:

Birthday party (Part 1)

Daddy and Mummy threw a birthday party for me today. My relatives on Mummy's side came for lunch and they brought me many birthday presents. But Ye Ye and Nai Nai couldn't come though, because they were in Shanghai looking after Di Di (Cousin Matthias).

Here is a photo of Grandpa and I taken by Daddy after lunch:

Daddy took some other videos of my party, and he promised that he'll help me to upload them as soon as possible.

Birthday party (Part 2)

In the evening, Daddy's and Mummy's friends and their babies came over to our house to celebrate my birthday. Angelica is on right, while Chloe (who is in the same class as me in school) is on my left. Chloe also came for my birthday party last year, and I think we had a lot of fun playing together.
